ECOMAINE PRESENTS MAINE’S GREEN SYMPOSIUM
ecomaine’s Green Event Adds Symposium Content In Response
To The Success Of The First Year’s Expo

PORTLAND, ME., July 30, 2008ecomaine, dedicated supporters of recycling and environmental protection, will present ecomaine’s Green Symposium on November 13, 2008, coinciding with Maine Recycles Week. In response to the success of last year’s Green Expo, and the strong demand for more personal and professional green seminars, ecomaine is offering a symposium at this year’s event. ecomaine’s Green Symposium will be taking place at USM’s Sullivan Complex, located on Falmouth Street in Portland, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The symposium will feature premium seminars on practical green approaches. The event will also feature a free expo showcasing over 60 environmentally responsible companies’ products and services, as well as product demonstrations led by industry experts. The expo portion of ecomaine’s Green Symposium’s will be open free of charge to the public. “This event is like no other in Maine,” says Kevin Roche, General Manager, ecomaine. “Our expo show is free to everyone and our symposium is about practical applications for businesses. This year, more than ever, businesses want to be ‘green’ and to do that they need information from reliable sources.”

“We’re eager to bring businesses and consumers together for a practical education on sustainable living,” says Stefa Normantas, Green Tree Event Consultants, event producer. “So many eco-conscious people and businesses are looking for good information. This half-day symposium is designed to deliver resourceful tips, tools, and techniques for a greener lifestyle that can be put to use immediately.”
